Sometimes when we move, the time frame is as short as six months. There is no way we could ever paint. Basically our house starts out as a bunch of antiques thrown helter skelter. I like to think of it as "elevated dorm decorating" if that's a style. We hang paintings instead of posters and our fridge is full-sized but covering the ugly flooring with a rug is still the best trick in the book. At any rate, when I come across examples such as this House Beautiful room of white walls elevated by the contents, it gives moment to pause.
